Hi, I am Arsalan and I love taking on challenging problems, ideating to solve them and bringing those ideas to life. I also love digital products and the impact they have on people. 

The first excitement of bringing an idea to life I experienced was back in high school, when I and my team ideated for Wright Brothers’ airplane prototype for Intel’s International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF). Bringing that idea to life by converting sketches into an actual airplane was an achievement. Our presentation of the prototype to experts explaining how it operates won us the 1st prize in the Physics Category. 

This was the beginning of my lasting love for creativity, innovation and product management. Since then, I have worked in the Corporate World, bringing innovative ideas to life and later, in 2017 began my entrepreneurial journey with Baskyt – an e-commerce instant food & grocery delivery service. With Baskyt, I was involved from conceptualization to user experience research, pricing, interface design & development, managing sprints, brand & content development and the overall flow design of shopping experience. I led the team to develop an innovative Squad feature in Baskyt’s mobile apps allowing users to purchase products in groups, ultimately reaching an Annual Recurring Revenue of $35,000. 

I have also worked to deliver products for some of the largest corporations: a Telecom Giant and one of the largest Banks. My idea of a Gamified Values Launch Application won the Business Excellence Award as it communicated the company’s values to more than 6,000 employees in an engaging gamified manner. On the other hand, we revitalized the bank’s recruitment processes using Talent Code: our Talent Acquisition & Assessment software that enabled innovative features such as video resumes submission and AI-Based calculation for a profile match with a job. 

Achieving great success with my innovative ideas, I am looking for a new challenge. Having hands on experience in pre-launch UX/UI stage, managing user stories and sprints to develop the product, getting the product to market and finally, analyzing user data to make adjustments, I believe I could be a great fit at ThinkPivot.

A self-driven individual with 5+ years of experience in Designing, Prototyping & successfully launching digital applications. I am passionate about technology which shows through the conception and launch of award-winning digital products in large corporations including a Talent Acquisition & Assessment Software and a Gamified Cultural Transformation Application. I also led Baskyt, a pioneer in Grocery Delivery & Collaborative Shopping, from 0 to $100,000 in revenue / year

I have recently completed my Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) Certification from Scrum Alliance.
