I am Colombian, I have been travelling since I was 23 ( I guess at this point I have to admit that I am 35, I do not know when time passed lol).  I have a bachelor's in Spanish Communication, a TESOL certificate and I am currently doing a Master's in Teaching languages in Global Contexts, while at the same time, I am learning French. All of this to tell you that I am a qualified Spanish teacher, not just because of my studies, but also because I have lived the experiences of learning a new language, I understand the frustrations (believe I cried more than once when I first lived in an English speaking country), the excitement, the need for real conversation and coonection, etc. 

My classes are 100% student center, I plan according to your goals, and I make sure you reach them. You are always welcome to try once class per free.

Experience

I have worked as a language teacher for more than 10 years. I have taught English in my home country and Spanish in Canada. I have taught kids, teenagers, and adults. My classes are mostly conversational, it does not mean that we do not learn grammar, but I always make grammar meaningful, I do not want to give a bunch of structures for you to memorize, I want to talk about interesting topics with my students while we practice grammar. 

My last experience was in a Community Center teaching Spanish for Travelling to a group of 55+, It was supposed to be a short course for the summer, but it was so successful that students asked for a permanent course.
