• Develop mechanical conceptual designs and Basic Engineering and Design Packages (BDEP)

• Schedule timely mechanical maintenance activities of all mechanical equipment’s (blowers, pumps, scanner fans, cooling tower fans) to ensure 100% uptime

• Conduct dynamic and steady state stress analysis, studies and simulations of equipment behaviors expected in service to confirm fit for service

• Modify the properties of substances such as metal alloys by utilizing mechanical and thermal treatments

• Analyze product failure data, conduct quantitative failure analysis of operational data and laboratory test results to determine causes of problems and develop solutions

• Recommend technical design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality, or performance

• Design, develop and conduct feasibility studies to assess new technologies/process improvements

• Provide technical production support in system-level production maintenance and tooling/system calibration

• Lead and perform materials characterization, material performance testing in partnership with the R&D team

• Evaluate plans or specifications to determine technological or environmental implications

• Conduct toolbox talk for over 50 technical team daily

• Analyze gaps to ensure program meets PSM and ISA requirements

• Establish maintenance strategies to install and commission equipment

• Create plant preventative maintenance procedures and support ongoing maintenance program

• Offer technical expertise to the maintenance team( foreman, fitters and technicians)

• Monitor work-in-progress and completion to ensure specifications are met
