• Built a breaking news functionality and Google Analytics plugin for each author/article, and implemented a responsive navigation bar inspired by Mashable.com, giving a fresh look to over 300 sites in the Fansided network.
• Developed new modules for analytics, social sharing, teams, schedules, and featured articles, and integrated Google Analytics and various social APIs within the site for reporting and analysis.
• Improved the PHP backend by 30-40% through the use of JSON files, parallel-processed crons, streamlined database queries, and caching.

Lead Front-End Developer, WallStreetSurvivor.com, Remote (Dec 2011 - Oct 2013)

• Led the UX development of WallStreetSurvivor.com, a stock market simulator and learning platform with over 700,000 users, 4+ million page views per month, and a 50% YoY growth.
• Optimised the code and built fast APIs with C# developers, resulting in a faster and more responsive website, and implemented best front-end development practices using Wordpress, Angularjs, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Postscribe.js, JQuery, and Bootstrap Js/Foundation.
• Created a new Wordpress plugin to track user progress and a responsive version of the site, and developed a complete analytics admin section for the courses.
• Streamlined workflow and deployment processes using CSS/JS generation on the fly/Grunt/SASS, and created a Statistics/Analytics plugin to help the marketing team analyse user interactions with the site.
