About Tim Lagman:

I am a Fee Officer for Scotiabank’s Wealth Management department. In this role I am constantly communicating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to the growth and success of the team. Furthermore, we constantly aim to improve our performance through quarterly reviews by gathering and analyzing survey data on a regular basis and take the necessary steps to maintain confidentiality where applicable.

 

I volunteer for the AIDS Committee of Toronto focusing on LGBT+ health and wellness providing harm reduction supplies and strategies to the community. In this role I have created workshops catered for the youth to take charge of their sexual health from an anti-oppressive lens. As such I understand the importance of breaking down barriers and making these resources accessible and how it promotes solidarity.

 

I graduated from Durham College’s Music Business Management advanced diploma program with honours achieving a 4.5 GPA. I have taken courses in Business Communications, Merchandising, Promotions and Publicity, Digital Business, Accounting, and Marketing. Part of the program required me to be the financial manager where I had to oversee the success of four different music venues on the same night for Oshawa Music Festival.
