About Tysen Steffler:
An Electromechanical Engineering student with hands-on experience in a high-paced industrial environment. My background includes working in the paint shop at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, where I honed my ability to follow established processes. I ensured that each vehicle met the highest quality standards. This position required meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Experience
I have hands-on experience in industrial settings, having worked at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada in the Paint Shop (2021-2023), where I applied precision sealant, prepped vehicles for e-coating, and maintained high quality and safety standards. I also supported rotating shifts and completed WHMIS and ergonomic safety training. Previously, I worked as a Facilities Attendant at City of Waterloo’s RIM Park (2018-2020), ensuring facility readiness and safety.
Education
I am currently pursuing a Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology at Sheridan College. My coursework includes Applied Electricity, Health, Work and Safety, Engineering Statistics, Computer Assisted Design (CAD) in 3D, Engineering Materials & Testing, Robotic Fundamentals, Mechanical Manufacturing Process, and Fluid Power. Through this program, I have developed a strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and practical skills in various technical areas.
