About Usha Kumar:

International medical Graduate working in Clinical Trials for several years.

Oncology Clinical trials for 13 years which I have just completed.

Also worked as Contract Physician on two occasions -one in clinical trials and the other with Edmonton Board of Health.  I am passionate about working for Pharmacovigilance as this part of Clinical Trials has been very interesting to me and I would like to continue working in this area.

Experience

It has all been listed in my cover letter.  I have gathered a variety of experiences in Clinical Trials over the years I have worked. The Safety Reports have been a very interesting part.  Following up of the reports on these patients was a very interesting experience

Education

I have a foreign medical degree (MBBS). I have found this very helpful working in Clinical Trials, as medical terminology and understanding the flow of events became easier. Completion of Study Coordinators courses was very helpful with the activities involved in each trial.  With the background in medicine and courses taken made working in the trials interesting.
