Velymyr Varlakov

My name is Velemyr I am a sculptor with over 15 years of experience working with a wide range of materials, including stone, metal, and wood.

I have extensive expertise in creating models and molds for metal casting and composite materials.

Skilled in producing complex 3D models using ZBrush and Blender, with a solid understanding of digital sculpting and surface detailing.

Experienced in operating CNC machines and working with precision tooling to bring both artistic and technical designs to life.

I have worked as a sculptor my entire adult life across three countries — Ukraine, Poland, and Canada.

Starting my career in Ukraine, I completed numerous commissions, including public monuments and memorials.

My works can be found in both Poland and Ukraine — among the most notable are the monument to Vladimir Vysotsky in Kharkiv and the monument to Józef Piłsudski in Brussels, created for the Polish government.

In Canada, I also worked for Izart Architectural Design, where I specialized in stone carving and the creation of architectural stone elements for buildings and decorative structures.

Graduated from Kharkiv State Art College with a major in Sculpture. My education focused on classical sculpting techniques, composition, and art history, providing a strong foundation for both traditional and digital art creation.
