Being a Software Developer at Bacancy Technology, I learned and developed skills in Ruby on Rails, 3rd party APIs, HTML, CSS, Postgresql, MySQL and SqlLite. During this period, I assisted with a variety of projects, with major focus on back-end programming for various client databases, websites, APIs, and other front-end technologies. I was privileged to have the opportunity to lead couple of projects after 1.5 years of collaborating with various internal teams and performing several tasks; which includes obtaining information from clients, generating task estimates, designing, creating, testing, deploying websites and managing there cloud as well as AWS instances.
In addition to the talents listed above, I have several qualities and characteristics that make me a great fit for this role. I have strong troubleshooting and communicational skills which I have used while resolving several bugs and during meetings held with clients. During my role as Developer, I gained hands-on experience of not only the programming language and the database, but also acquired knowledge regarding MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. I created and managed sheets and documents which contained the task descriptions, logs, task estimation and other project related information; in addition to that, I also worked on project named StackShare, where I was privileged to use APIs to directly read and write scrapped data into Excel sheets and manipulate the sheet data before storing them into database. This assisted me in developing strong MS Office skills, especially Excel skills. I also gained knowledge of Data analysis, visualisation and other such analysis while working on projects where I had to make use of libraries to clean, manipulate and visualise data. I have used languages like Python, R and frameworks such as Tableau, Hadoop, Spark for such complex tasks. I'm always looking for ways to improve processes and boost productivity. Being a crucial member of the team since I led the group to guarantee that all duties were performed on time and efficiently.
