  • Project Manager for the SOP Project for the compliance groups various positions and activities, including writing, updating and maintaining each SOP as procedures changed, managing team members and adhering to deliverable due dates;

  • Assisted the Engineer of Record on site to respond to all RFI’s for the Bisch FSR upgrade in Kitimat, BC which included requests for change in design to accommodate geohazards, which were discovered during construction and changes in the road design due to errors in construction done prior to the client taking over the project; 
  • Laboratory testing including sieve analysis, Atterberg testing, sand equivalent testing, soundness, and specific gravity; 
  • Concrete testing, including air, slump and cylinders as per CCIL standards.

  • Completed a desk top study of borrow sources to confirm type and suitability of granular material based on previous geotechnical investigation in the Yukon and British Columbia; 
  • Determined demand quantities required for the construction of a pipeline through British Columbia and the Yukon; 
  • Completed a desk top study of borrow sources in Alaska from a drilling program and chose highway pits from the Delta Junction to Prudhoe Bay in order to meet material requirements for construction of a pipeline, including stereoscope analysis of aerial photographs; 
  • Carried out cost/benefit analysis for development of various borrow pits in order to select sites for the preliminary field investigation.

Geotechnical Engineering Intern

  • Completed the 2005 East In Pit Performance Report and aided in various dam safety reviews in accordance with the licensing agreement for site; 
  • Created and completed a wind suppression study to reduce visibility issues caused by blowing sand from tailings areas on Highway 63; 
  • Carried out the bathymetric surveys for all the Tailings and Utilities Ponds for Syncrude Base Mine and Aurora sites, including scheduling equipment and operators; 
  • Completed slope stability analyses on materials stockpiles on site.
