Gas Bar Attendant - Taber, Canada - South Country Co-Op
Description
Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager, the Gas Bar Attendant is responsible for delivering world-class customer service, running fuel pumps, operating cash registers, taking payment from customers, assisting with merchandising and displaying products in the Convenience Store, and maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
- Physical ability to handle assigned work, including long hours of standing and frequently lifting 2030 lbs.; occasionally lifting 50 lbs.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to adapt to new technology
- Manual dexterity required to use POS machine and peripherals
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to exceptional customer service
- Selfreliant, goaloriented, and able to learn new skills quickly
- Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
- High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
Availability:
Weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays.
