About the role
Quality Assurance Technician duties include:
- Assist QA manager & team to ensure that quality systems are established and maintained in compliance with Health Canada, FDA, NSF and GMP regulations.
- Review daily manufacturing records and finished product labels for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct and document maintenance of inhouse equipment including FTIR spectrometer, digital scales, and temperature monitors.
- Sample raw materials and finished products, arrange inhouse (FTIR, identification and microbiological) and thirdparty laboratory testing.
- Document and review incoming materials, maintain accuracy of associated ERP records.
- Assist with the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and new manufacturing processes / equipment.
- Process results from inhouse and thirdparty laboratory product testing. Document and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, trending, and summarizing results.
- Prepare quality assurancerelated documents according to internal SOPs.
- Perform data entry, file, and maintain quality assurance records.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years experience working in a manufacturing quality assurance or laboratory role.
- Organizational skills and strong ability to multitask. Ability to establish priorities in their work area.
- Computer knowledge and ability to work with various programs (MSMicrosoft, Excel, & Word, Google Sheets) to create written documents/letters of response, spreadsheets, reports, forms/logs for the recording of data.
- Must be able to perform under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal & written).
- Detailoriented analytical thinker.
- Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work with a diverse group of individuals including upper management and the ability to develop positive working relationships.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices is preferred.

Salary:
$21.00-$23.00 per hour
