About the role

Quality Assurance Technician duties include:

Assist QA manager & team to ensure that quality systems are established and maintained in compliance with Health Canada, FDA, NSF and GMP regulations.
Review daily manufacturing records and finished product labels for accuracy and completeness.
Conduct and document maintenance of inhouse equipment including FTIR spectrometer, digital scales, and temperature monitors.
Sample raw materials and finished products, arrange inhouse (FTIR, identification and microbiological) and thirdparty laboratory testing.
Document and review incoming materials, maintain accuracy of associated ERP records.
Assist with the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and new manufacturing processes / equipment.
Process results from inhouse and thirdparty laboratory product testing. Document and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, trending, and summarizing results.
Prepare quality assurancerelated documents according to internal SOPs.
Perform data entry, file, and maintain quality assurance records.

Job Requirements

2+ years experience working in a manufacturing quality assurance or laboratory role.
Organizational skills and strong ability to multitask. Ability to establish priorities in their work area.
Computer knowledge and ability to work with various programs (MSMicrosoft, Excel, & Word, Google Sheets) to create written documents/letters of response, spreadsheets, reports, forms/logs for the recording of data.
Must be able to perform under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
Strong communication skills (both verbal & written).
Detailoriented analytical thinker.
Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work with a diverse group of individuals including upper management and the ability to develop positive working relationships.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices is preferred.
