Minimum Requirements:

A college diploma with ten years of related / equivalent industrial experience or a university degree in an OT related discipline (e.g. Chemical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science and Computer Engineering) and seven years of related experience
Strong computer and systems knowledge encompassing networking, communication protocols, firewall and switch configuration, operating systems, virtualization, and advanced programming/scripting concepts
Experience with data historians e.g. PHD, IP21, PI and dash boarding toolsets e.g. XHQ
Familiarity with instrumentation, DCS/SCADA systems, and Cyber-Security
Experience in a realtime processing environment e.g. refining, petrochemicals and with wireless communication in a production facility
Highly motivated individual with continuous improvement attitude, strong analytical skills and decisionmaking capacity
A selfstarter with proven written, verbal, interpersonal and problem solving skills
Solid leadership, integrity and strong communication skills to interact with all levels of leadership

Responsibilities:

Coordinate OT infrastructure work for sustainment or project related through the Suncor Digital Technology demand process
Provide technical support and direction to Operations, Maintenance & Reliability, Engineering, and other Sarniabased teams in the OT space leveraging wireless technology
Build strong positive relationships while coordinating with other teams both Sarnia based and in other locations

Location and other key details:

You will work out of our Sarnia refinery in Ontario, located at 1900 St. Clair Parkway
This is an office based role, hours of work are a regular 40hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs. There is a requirement to participate in oncall after hours support on a rotating basis
