Saturday 6:30pm 10:30pm

Sunday 9:30am - 5:30pm

The Building Maintenance Worker is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the physical building.

This position maintains and coordinates the cleaning and upkeep of the building, performs light handy work for the departments, and provides security for the evening staff members.

The Building Maintenance Worker works under the supervision of the Facility Coordinator.

Highlights of Responsibilities:

Promptly respond to staff for facilities related inquiries and requests
Provide security for evening and weekend staff members.
Inspect the facility on a regular basis in order to avoid hazards and to address issues in a timely manner when facility coordinator not around.
Address building maintenance issues as required (such as lighting, heating, a/c, cleaning, functionality etc.). Ensure that the physical building and property is clean, well maintained, and compliant with all relevant legislation including sweeping floors, and cleaning and supplying washrooms as necessary.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary:
$21.00-$24.00 per hour
