Quality Control Technician - Summer/Fall Position

We are looking for a knowledgeable and dependable Temporary Quality Control Technician to work May to November/December, 2023. This position is primarily responsible for testing concrete at the plant and job sites to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities:

Complete concrete quality tests such as temperature, air, and slump
Monitoring pours and working with customers to ensure product meets specifications
Evaluating material properties for use in concrete production
Interacting with project and site managers regarding concrete specifications
Optimizing concrete mixtures by adding appropriate admixtures and products
Provide technical knowledge, service, and support to customers
Liaison with plant and suppliers regarding product quality
Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications:

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Must be capable of completing physical tasks of up to 50lbs in weight
Preferred civil engineering technology diploma or related education
Preferred experience with materials testing of concrete, asphalt, soil, etc.

Hours of Work:

Regular work schedule will be Monday - Saturday. Hours of work will vary.
