Job Description:

RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.

The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
The incumbent of this position will work directly with Dr.

Adam Shapiro on patient recruitment and completion of clinical research protocols for adults and children with Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia and other chronic lung diseases.

General Duties

Patient contact/recruitment/visit planning
Patient registry creation with data entry
Genetic sample management
Management/Creation of existing and new REB protocols,
Database creation and data entry in Redcap databases

Education / Experience

Education: Diploma of College Studies (DEC)
Work Experience: Previous clinical research is welcomed, but not necessary

Required Skills:

Able to perform medical record reviews
Excellent French and English, spoken and written,
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) and RedCap is a plus

Additional information

Status:
Temporary, full time

Pay Scale:
Commensurate with education and experience

Work Shift: 9am - 4pm Monday to Friday

Work Site:
Glen Site
