The
Marketing Associate will be responsible for supporting the business development strategy through the development, coordination, and effective optimization of campaigns to grow category as well as brand awareness ultimately driving the generation of qualified leads for the various service lines Rodan offers.


Main Responsibilities & Duties:
Project Management (45%)

  • Event Coordination: Manage participation at industry events, from research & planning to execution and reporting on results, as well as supporting internally held events
  • Vendor Management: Manage third party resources and act as the primary liaison between the company and the agency
  • Marketing Automation: Create workflows for prospects through creative drip campaigns
  • Market Research: Keep track of competitors in the market in terms of the marketing presence, including keyword bidding
Content and Material Creation (45%)

  • Content Creation and Deployment: Manage and maintain content calendar (social, eblasts, blogs, web), working closely with Marketing Manager, HR team, technical SME's and Business Development team to ensure relevant compelling content
  • Graphic Design Support: creating graphics for digital and physical pieces, maintaining a professional and consistent brand image for Rodan Energy
  • Marketing Material Creation: from ideation to execution through copy writing, graphics, and vendor coordination, example: sell sheets, trade show signage, and web pages etc.
  • Product Management: Work with internal and external SME's to develop value focused messaging for our service offerings
  • Video Capture: Capture of internal training and promotion content, as well as management of thirdparty videographers, agents and consultants that may aid in the produced materials for publication
Administrative (10%)

  • Maintain digital filing archival for marketing materials
  • Invoice coordination and project expense tracking
  • Manage the marketing project tracker
  • Manage internal marketing inventory
  • Administrative duties as required

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Post secondary education in marketing, graphic design, business or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in the strategic development and execution of marketing campaigns as they relate to digital marketing, content marketing, event planning, communications, branding, and lead generation
  • 5+ years' experience launching multimedia campaigns with emphasis on digital advertising and social media
  • 5+ years experience with marketing B2B services
  • Experience managing vendors and agencies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fastpaced environment within timelines and on budget
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and an eye for design
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency in full Adobe Suite and Canva
  • Experience with social media tools (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.)
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Experience with CMS tools (Wordpress) an asset
  • Ability to use Video Editing software an asset


  • Ability to Travel

  • Expected travel up to 5% on an annual basis
  • US and Canada for tradeshows and events to engage with customers as part of the team
  • Must have a valid driver's license and passport and be able to attend events

This is a flexible hybrid role where you are required to work both remotely and in person depending on business needs.

You will be required to work at our Corporate HQ office in Mississauga a minimum of 2 days per week in addition to attending and participating in workshops, projects, or team meetings.
