Healing Roots Therapy is looking for Clinical Psychologists who are able to provide in-person services (at our Mississauga location off of the 403 & Hurontario) week day evenings and/or weekends.

We are flexible and have both part-time clients a week) and full-time clients a week) positions.


We are looking for individuals who are available to support our clients 2-3 evenings a week (Fridays 1pm-8:30pm), and/or weekends (Saturdays 9am-4pm and/or Sundays 9am-3pm). We are looking for registered practitioners that can support
Individuals, couples, and families.

The Role:

Healing Roots Therapy is looking for Therapists who are highly motivated, and empathetic to become part of the team.

The Therapist will provide direct psychotherapy to primarily individuals ages 13 years and up who reside within the Peel Region with a diverse range of needs.

The Therapist will be provided with a case load of clients in accordance with Healing Roots Therapy intake procedure. The Therapist will be responsible for receiving external _supervision of the client case load provided_. The individual must have excellent recommendations and/or knowledge/practice in the qualifications listed below.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • A doctoral degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology from an accredited program
  • A current license as a Registered Psychologist in Ontario with the CPO

At least 1 years of experience practicing the act of psychotherapy:


  • At least 1 year experience of supporting couples and families

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provide direct therapy to individuals, couples and families.
  • Provide clinical diagnosis for depression, ADHD, anxiety, etc
  • Support 1015 clients weekly (Parttime) OR 1520 clients weekly (Fulltime) for Inperson services (Individuals, Couples and Families).
  • Support clients 34 days a week
    (providing inperson services two/three evenings/weekends a week; online services one day/evening a week), a gradual build to a case load of 1o20 clients a week.
  • Conduct an initial intake with the proposed client, as needed, and assist with client scheduling;
  • Prepare and ensure accurate, thorough and timely recording of all client information and documentation, including but not limited to: session activity notes, reports, correspondence of consented third parties, legal forms and doctor's letters, while ensuring all information is upto
- date and continually documented;

  • Prepare, develop and deliver personalized treatment plans for clients;
  • Coordinate service requirements on a per client basis;
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and coordinated care to clients
  • Properly record and document the applicable payment credentials and method in client files, on a per session basis.
  • Work in collaboration with other community resources as required.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of psychology
  • Meet with an external supervisor to ensure ethical practice and care for client care.

Office Administration:


  • Client scheduling and calendar organization
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy work space
