Role and Responsibilities:


Data Analytics & Digital Acceleration is a newly formed team that will lead the transformation of Consumer Health towards a data and digital first culture with the deployment of rapid, high value end-to-end (E2E) data products and solutions.


As a member of this team, you will be responsible for targeted E2E Data and Digital outcomes that require a cross-functional focus to unlock our growth strategy leveraging Data Science/AI and Intelligent Automation.


The team is business-led, technology enabled and will have responsibility to enable achievement of the J&J Consumer Health 3-year strategic growth objectives viz.

Net Trade Sales Acceleration, Gross Profit Optimization, and Free Cash flow optimization.


One of the key focus areas for this team will be to design, build, and maintain scalable and robust models that support end-to-end data products.


Our larger mission is to drive organization-wide growth and impact for the 1.2B consumers & healthcare professionals who use our products and services.


As a trusted member of the Data Analytics and Digital Acceleration Team, this role will be uniquely positioned to collaborate with executives across the business to define, scope and oversee Data Science solutions to address critical business and analytical needs and deliver actionable insights across functions and regions, and enable outcomes that matter in our local markets.


As a strategic problem solver and an emerging expert in Data Science, this role will empower our technology and business partners through the management and delivery of high-quality insights and Data Science solutions that will be foundational in achieving our digital-first ambitions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide technical expertise and delivery across a range of Data Science initiatives
  • Model Development & Evaluation by selecting appropriate machine learning models for tasks, building and working versions of models using Python and other opensource tools; and evaluating and explaining the performance of models in the business context
  • Business Insights &

Feature Engineering:
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand relationships and identify opportunities to influence business outcomes

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to better understand problems and drive model improvements
  • Share insights from EDA and modeling with the broader team
  • Assist in Building data science and augmented analytics solutions for strategic initiatives: Support the Lead Data Scientist in building models for endtoend data products
  • Generate key business insights by employing solutions such as realtime reporting, predictive analytics, and endtoend dashboards
  • Create and implement models on

Big Data:
Research and implement solutions leveraging big data technology (Open Source, GCP, AWS or Microsoft) to ingest, process and analyze large, disparate data sets


Qualifications:


Position Requirements:


  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a Data Science role
  • Strong background in feature engineering and ML modeling
  • Strong business analytical skills to understand business context and develop solutions that meet functional needs
  • Familiarity of software development best practices (version control, code review & testing frameworks)
  • Experience in building highly scalable ML/AI services and workin
