Parsons is looking to hire a full-time Communications Commissioning Coordinator who will provide administrative and technical solutions to process commissioning documentation and coordinate commissioning activities for all built infrastructure affected by the CTS construction project.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the Comms PICO, SAT and SIT procedure lists and follow up with the PMs (and their vendors) and Engineer of Record (CTSD) for the submission of procedures and reports
- Monitor, track, review and process testing and commissioning results (PICO/SAT/SIT)
- Coordinate and arrange all Client side witnesses (commissioning event invites) and related activities (permit to work, prerequisites, etc.)
- Assist with the coordination of resources for commissioning events
- Update commissioning information/databases within 48 hours of commissioning events
- Assist the Comms team with logging test deficiencies
- Liaise with document control for transmittal of test documents to the Client
- Support the Comms T&C Test Leads with test execution, as required
Qualifications
- Familiar with scheduling software (Project, P6, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Sound knowledge of MS Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong communication skills and motivated team player
- Has the drive to solve problems and follow through until issues are resolved
- Prior coordination experience on a railways project, preferably in T&C
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.

Extent of Internal/Public Contact:
- CTS staff including, construction and the Commissioning (Construction) team
- Interact with CTSM, CTSD, various mechanical electrical trades, software developers and suppliers
Physical Demands
- Able to perform in a fastpaced environment.
- Walking, lifting, etc. ability to use stairs, ladders and climb over rough terrain.
- Primary work location is the project segment/site office (along the Eglinton transit line).
- Work location flexibility within GTA is desirable.
