Daltco Electric is Eastern Ontario's largest independent electrical automation and lighting distributor. Daltco Electric serves the industrial, residential, and commercial marketplace from its three locations in Kingston, Brockville, and Ottawa.


Responsibilities:


  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and plans.
  • Work with vendor partners and agents to arrive at the best solution for the customer.
  • Develop and implement strategy to enable Daltco to win a high percentage of projects quoted.
  • Provide project quotations on time and in an organized manner.
  • Provide follow up on projects and show the ability to influence customer decision makers.
  • Responsible to hand off successful bids to the project coordinator organized and complete as per our project management procedures.
  • Act as a resource to the project coordinator during the lifecycle of the project.

Skills and Experience:


  • Electrical Engineering Technician or Technologist diploma.
  • 2 years+ experience in electrical distribution.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Possess a continuous improvement mindset to deliver value to the customer.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
