THE ROLE

We are searching for a strategic team leader who can plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple projects with excellent communication and leadership skills to manage internal and external partners.


The PSP Military Housing Property Manager is integral in providing the operations and delivery of property rental, renovations and life cycle maintenance programs within the National Capital Region, located at Uplands.


PSP Military Housing was created in 1961 to provide housing for Junior Non-Commissioned Members posted to the National Capital Region.

PSP Military Housing consists of 519 three-bedroom townhouses and 26 three-bedroom bungalows.


The property Manager is responsible for the administration of programs, within the framework of policies, practices and terms of reference established by a Board of Directors.

Fiscal responsibility includes Business planning, budget preparation and control, project management, cyclical management, improvements, inventory control management and Health and Safety.

The property manager is also responsible for leading, motivating and encouraging the military housing team to meet service and project objectives on a day-to-day basis.


QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Property Management or in a related field, AND some years of management experience, or in a related field


Experience

  • In planning, coordinating, and managing the operations and delivery of property rentals and renovations.
  • In establishing, sustaining and fostering excellent clientcentered relationships.
  • In negotiating contracts
  • In financial administration
  • In budget administration
  • In personnel management

Knowledge

  • Of general business practices and theories
  • Of housing management and maintenance, including housing related policies
  • Of managing construction projects
  • Of estimating construction project costs
