What you bring

  • Communicate to the ASRS/AGV/Conveyor MHE, Team Lead or Maintenance Coordinator any issues that affect the operation or productivity of the (3) systems or towlines
  • Correct crane, AGV, conveyor and towline faults promptly ensuring minimum down time
  • Maintain the integrity of the ASRS/DCS/AGV systems and equipment operating efficiency
  • Verify and enter data in the DCCS/RTC/Dematic/ASRS and other systems as well as monitor the system activities
  • Monitor and use the Conveyor/ASRS/AGV screens as required
  • Global start up and shut down of all conveyor/ASRS/AGV systems
  • Use the ACS/DCCS/PLC/RTC systems to monitor activities of AGV, ASRS/Towline system & ensure product is moving throughout the DC for maximum efficiencies in stock replenishments
  • During equipment failures or other assignments, perform repairs within agreed limits of skill to safely and effectively correct the failure
  • Work with maintenance trades team in the repair/overhaul of equipment in assigned area
  • Report process problems and possible root causes to the MHE Team, Team Lead or Coordinator
  • Ensure information of production requirements is transferred and confirmed to the oncoming shift
  • Liaise with DC Shift Manager for secondary contact during major breakdowns as required
  • Follow all department job & safety SOP/Reliable Methods
  • Participate actively in department 5S and STOP programs

What you will do

  • This is a qualificationbased position.
  • Must be able to work at heights of 100 feet, climbing stairs and be capable of lifting heavy weights
  • Through knowledge of DCCS system
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent demonstrated communication skills
  • Ability to work with multiple systems and material handling systems and handle multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability to work overtime when required
  • Current performance meets Maintenance requirements combined with a proven safety record
  • Attendance meets or exceeds department standards
  • Knowledge of and the ability to operate the AJ Billes AGV/ASRS/towline & Conveyor systems
  • Knowledge/experience in repairing small equipment or taking on technical projects

Shift (Crew 10B) :Afternoon (Wednesday to Saturday)
