JOB SUMMARY
The
QARA Intern supports the
QARA department with various tasks - this role will primarily be responsible for the administration and maintenance of Medline Canada's SAP complaint notification system, as well as recalls for products sold by the company.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enter complaints in the SAP Notification System, acknowledge, monitor complaint investigations, and close complaints.
- Coordinate and send replacements, response letters as needed.
- Communicate with Division QA and/or vendors to ensure complaints investigated in timely manner.
- Coordinate receipt of samples for forwarding to Divisions and or vendors for investigation.
- Prepare customer recall letters and customer sales tracings.
- Prepare Health Canada recall notification reports.
- Track customer responses and assist with closing the recall.
- Assist closing a backlog of complaints as well as closing a backlog of recalls.
- Review complaints to ensure investigations have been completed and prepare closing letters to customers if requested.
- Review recalls to close any gaps for customer communications and close the recall file
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years in an undergraduate program, e.g. BSc. in Science.
- Post Graduate program in
QARA preferred (either completed or in process). - Previous experience working in a related field (medical, pharmaceutical) is an asset.
- Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, experience with SAP an asset.)
- Good communication skills (written, oral).
- Good analytical skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work under time constraints.
- An understanding of Health Canada regulations a strong asset
- Excellent communication, writing skills. Bilingual in English & French an asset.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Computer proficiency skills (MS Office)
