    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    As a key member of the Personal and Business Banking Team, you will lead a team of top-performing financial services experts with the common objective of providing exceptional client service. In your role as a team leader, you will recruit, develop, and mentor your team, motivating them to achieve their best. By assuming ownership mentality, you will assist clients and team members in achieving success, identifying strategies for sustainable revenue growth, and taking responsibility for outcomes. Your support will be instrumental in assisting both new and existing clients in securing their future, owning properties, and establishing enterprises. Flexibility is essential to accommodate the operational hours of our banking centers, which may include evenings and weekends. To ensure a superior client experience, you should be willing to work at various banking centers within a reasonable distance.

    At CIBC, we facilitate an optimal work environment for you to thrive in your capacity. Full-time on-site presence is required for successful task execution.

    How to Excel

    • Client-Centric Approach - Lead by example, guiding your team in enhancing client connections and addressing their financial requirements while delivering top-notch service. Advocate for CIBC within the community to foster new and existing client bonds. Encourage swift resolution of client concerns by employees and escalate issues when necessary.
    • Outcome-Driven Leadership - Foster a culture of collaboration to ensure clients are served by experts capable of meeting their financial needs. Monitor the business performance of the Banking Center and implement corrective measures where necessary. Collaborate seamlessly with partners to leverage market prospects and enhance overall Banking Center performance. Mitigate risks effectively to protect the bank, clients, and shareholders.
    • Team Leadership - Guide and mentor a dedicated team of Leaders, Advisors, and Representatives to strengthen client relationships and drive sustainable growth. Offer valuable growth opportunities to employees and promote CIBC within the community to attract individuals who embody our values.

Additional certifications such as Branch Compliance Officer's Course (BCO), Branch Managers Examination Course (BME), Conducts & Practices Handbook (CPH), Wealth Management Essentials (WME), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) are advantageous.
