Hiring Unit:
Athletics & Recreation - Intramural Sports


Position Summary:
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Intramural Sports General Official will help run the on-going sports programs.


Duties include:

  • Officiating/refereeing intramural matches
  • Assist with player checkin and scorekeeping
  • Assist with equipment setup and takedown
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive playing environment

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • High School Diploma
  • Strong knowledge of the selected sport is an asset
  • Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an Englishlanguage university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 4 on a scale of 04
  • Minimum Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma
