    Description

    Peter Lucas Project Management is seeking a Field Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This role is site based, working two weeks in/two weeks out, 11 hour days.

    The Field Superintendent is responsible for:

    ensuring contractors within their area are working in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements

    reviewing and/or developing detailed work plans according to workface planning processes

    may perform supervision of direct field labour on mechanical/piping scopes of work ensuring the work is completed safely and to a high quality standard

    will oversee the contractor's activities of a mechanical/piping nature

    inspections of completed work to confirm it is completed to appropriate standards, identifying deficiencies and managing the completion of deficiencies

    monitoring the schedule and productivity of work and working collaboratively with the contractor and operations personnel to resolve issues and barriers

    daily validation and approval of contractor submitted labour, equipment and material reports

    coordinating field activities between contractors and the operations team as required

    Salary: Open to wage negotiations based on experience and qualifications.

    Requirements

    • Journeyperson status in E/I or Mech
    • Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role
    • Previous experience with a multi-discipline mechanical work
    • Previous experience in a brown field construction environment
    • Proficient computer skills
