How you'll contribute
As one of our
Key Account Managers, you will focus on the profitable development of existing and new small to large accounts.
- Strengthening and building customer relationships for retention and wallet share.
- Determining customer trends and making recommendations on new programs.
- Targeting new small to large potential accounts to assess overall opportunities, promoting our value proposition, and securing revenue opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports against assigned accounts.
- Preparing and delivering annualized customer pricing agreements.
- Preparing and executing actions plans for declining accounts.
- Dealing with customer complaints and adjustments to achieve fair and equitable settlement at minimum cost to Stephenson's.
- Working various department heads to implement changes that drive customer value.
- Maintaining customer profiles, including key contacts, sites, call summaries, needs, opportunities, current vendors and dollar spend, motives and overall sales strategies and objectives.
- Dealing with customer complaints and adjustments to achieve fair and equitable settlements at minimum cost to the Company.
- Developing and executing an annual account sales plan that focuses on achieving sales budget requirements as well as profitable growth through net new customer acquisition.
- Regularly make sales calls on assigned customers and prospects to secure profitable business.
- Working with the Director of Sales to design and implement sound business plans for the new opportunities to ensure that the identified growth and profit is achieved and in line with Stephenson's overall strategic plan.
- Working with other internal sales channels to strategically transition accounts to ensure appropriate customer service levels and drive optimum revenue growth.
- Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of competitors in the marketplace
- Attending all scheduled sales and training meetings.
- Completing call reports and sales plans correctly and on time.
- Adhering to and promoting our Company Safety Policies, including wearing all required PPE when required onsite.
What we're looking for
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 510 years of sales experience in a Territory Sales Representative/Consultant capacity, with experience in equipment rental, construction, or related industries being a strong asset.
- G Class Driver's License with clean drivers abstract
- Technologically proficient with advanced MS Office experience
- Strong administrative, organization, and project management skills.
- Advanced communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills with a proactive approach to problem solving and "get it done attitude".
- Entrepreneurial selfstarter who can independently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines on multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.
- Team oriented with a strong work ethic, excellent ability to understand client concerns and meet challenges effectively.
