- Permanent fulltime position, Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week, flexible hours
- Salary varies from 50k to 60k depending on experience
- Insurance provided after 3 months' probation

- Allocate pickups and deliveries to different drivers
- Daily followup of all open files (reservations, customer followup requests, etc.)
- Update customer files in the system
- Prompt and efficient dispatch to ensure quality service is maintained
- Planning and execution of outbound and inbound deliveries
- Act as the main point of contact for drivers on the route
- Communicate with drivers at defined intervals to manage service expectations and identify problems
- Ensure tracking and traceability
- Resolve and respond accordingly to calls from customers and customer service group
- Monitor shipments
- Work with operations team in a respectful manner
- 12 years' professional experience in a related field, in dispatching for a transmission or distribution company
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of AS400, SAP or TruckMate is an asset
- Mechanical knowledge an asset
- Customer serviceoriented and outgoing
- Organized and reliable
