    The Opportunity: Inventory Clerk - Richmond, B.C.

    We currently have an outstanding opportunity in our Richmond, B.C. location for an initiative-taking collaborator who will assist in managing the warehouse operations and facilities.

    What Your Day May Look Like:

    • Recording inventory quantities, type and value of material and stock on hand using computerized inventory system.
    • Maintain stock rotation and dispose of and account for outdated stock as assigned.
    • Enter data stock replenishment/relocation and inventory adjustments.
    • Reconcile physical inventory and computer counts.
    • May assist with putting away of stock of incoming shipments in a timely fashion, which may include associated paperwork.
    • Cutting and picking of stock when necessary and in relation to keeping counts correct
    • Assist and participate in the preparation and completion of inventory counts.
    • Act as necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment for self and others.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    What You Will Need to Succeed:

    • Proficient in inventory software, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Excel
    • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
    • Experience in Wholesale Distribution
    • Excellent knowledge of electrical wire/cable
    • Thorough knowledge of warehousing policies and practices.
    • Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
    • Ability to operate a computer.
    • Management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to use or repair small, medium, and heavy equipment and machinery.

    Minimum Requirements

    • 2-year term
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Min. 2 years' experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field
    • Certified in 'Basics of Electricity'
    • Minimum Lean Certification in 5S Methodology (ISO Ref 18404
    • First Aid Certification (Minimum Level 2)
    • Forklift Certification (counterbalance and high reach)
