About the Role
We are currently looking for a Receptionist for our Head Office in Mississauga. As the Receptionist, you will greet visitors and manage inbound calls using a multi-line phone system. You will be responsible for incoming and outgoing mail, filing, and processing daily billing and cash sales.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Answer the switchboard in a professional and friendly manner, direct calls, and take messages when required
  • Greet visitors and make them feel welcome
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and faxes
  • Manage outgoing mail and postage machine
  • Sort, scan and upload all cheques
  • Filing
  • Process daily billing and cash sales
  • Provide administrative support to the branch team as required
  • Keep the office organized to ensure a good clean environment
  • Upload documents to customer accounts
  • Input invoices into Tungsten or Tulio network
  • Verify PO acknowledgements are correct
  • Invoice and bill branches
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Polished, professional, with aboveaverage interpersonal skills
  • Positive team player with a great attitude and an eagerness to help
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience managing a multiline phone system
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong keyboarding and data entry skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Must have a minimum of one year of office and reception experience
  • Customer Service experience is an asset
