Job Description:

CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE (CSA)


The Customer Service Associate will be responsible for working with US based customers on a day to day basis and handling inquiries received from customers to ensure that products and services are delivered in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customers to handle daytoday inquiries.
  • Order entry and verification of customer orders for accuracy, load weight, pallet count, special considerations, etc.
  • Order management including monitoring and updating of shipping dates and communicating updates/changes to internal and external customers.
  • Develop strong customer relationships
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Preparing customer related reports
  • May require some travel within North America

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Must be able to communicate clearly and contact customers over the phone and build longterm customer centric relationships.
  • Strong customer focus relationshipbuilding ship building skills.
  • High level of attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy of order entry and reports.
  • Ability to problem solve and "think outside the box."
  • Good organization skills.
  • Strong/proven analytical skills.
  • Practical experience with detailoriented order entry, and detailoriented research, face to face customer interactions.
  • College or University degree/diploma in Business Administration or Operations/Inventory Control/Logistics/Supply Chain preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate customer service role in North America with direct experience managing orders and customer relationships preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Familiarity with JDE and Salesforce is an asset.
