About the role:

A Technical Product Owner creates the product roadmap and defines the strategic vision for their team based on the overall organization's vision.

They have a deep understanding of the financial industry, technical aptitude, and a drive to advocate for user needs.

A Technical Product Owner demonstrates strategic thinking and manages dependencies with other teams while identifying, building, and managing strategic partnerships with various stakeholders.

They work closely within their team to ensure that user feedback is translated into new developments. Product Owners are accountable for specific platform/journey OKRs based on the squad's mission.

In this role, you will be collaborating with colleagues across Global Marketing, UX, global site owners, other agile teams, and the Agile Platform leadership team focusing on proof of concepts, platform innovation, system migrations, and maintenance of our public domain websites.

You will be part of a team that values communication, collaboration, transparency, and integrity.

What you will do:

Set ambitious and clear product vision and communicate vision effectively to stakeholders, the team, and the organization
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure digital vision and products align within team strategy and requirements
Work closely with business leaders to establish each product's business value, and support messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary
Prioritize and manage items in the backlog and maintain a backlog of 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team's work
Using market and industry knowledge, translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for the team
Determine endtoend team output strategy from inception to production
Facilitate release planning as well as regular sprint reviews with stakeholders
Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customerdriven design
Be accountable for product specific OKRs and communicate progress to stakeholders

Preferred skills:

Proven knowledge of financial industry space, with 5+ years in the industry with experience for technology supporting financial products and channels
Demonstrated knowledge of technology or ability to learn about technology and digital products, experience working on technical products is a plus
Strong collaborator with crossfunctional teams from technology, design, business, and operations
Experienced in facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing a backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, removing blockers
Ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution forwards
Strong communication skills with comfort speaking with business and technology stakeholders and influencing others
Ability to navigate the organization at a senior level
Ability to collaborate & make decisions with squad Technical Lead
