TFB - A division of VPC Group is looking for an Electro Mechanic to support our manufacturing operation in Brampton
.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Repairing and installing advanced production and manufacturing equipment
  • Diagnosing equipment malfunctions
  • Inspecting equipment for proper functioning and performing preventative maintenance duties on sophisticated production equipment.
  • Performing repairs on production equipment.
  • Enforcing good manufacturing practices, safety, and audit standards.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the method and sequence of assembly of machine or piece of equipment.
  • Inspect parts for surface defects.
  • Operate, test, and maintain equipment.
  • Analyze and record test results to present to a supervisor.
  • Develop, test or program new equipment.
  • Repair, rework or calibrate pneumatic assemblies and systems.

Qualifications:


  • 18 years or older
  • 3+ years of handson experience as assembly tech in an electronic related manufacturing environment
  • Understanding ISO Quality Systems
  • Possesses a high aptitude for attention to detail and receptive to learning procedural work.
  • Vocational certificate or associate degree in electromechanics
  • Good communication skills, verbal, and written English
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Computer literacy including effective skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Physical stamina and manual dexterity


  • Technical certifications (442A

  • Industrial Engineering)
  • Pass technical assessment addressing job critical maintenance knowledge.
  • Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns
  • Work near hear, noise, gas, chemicals

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

From $30.00 per hour
