The Opportunity:

We are currently looking to hire a People & Culture Generalist in Edmonton, AB.

This opportunity will be ideal for someone with a passion for developing their HR career through supporting initiatives aimed at building the current infrastructure for human resources capabilities and driving an inclusive and diverse workplace culture.

The People & Culture Generalist will report directly to the Director, People & Culture.

You are a great communicator, able to influence at all levels of the organization, and can help inspire an inclusive work environment.

You also know how to roll up your sleeves and drive action through prioritizing activities, establishing appropriate courses of action, and monitoring progress.

This role requires a high level of initiative and the ability to thrive in a rapidly growing entrepreneurial organization.

You possess the following education, experience, and skills:

Minimum of 3 years of progressive and diverse experience in the HR field including HRIS data entry, employee training and onboarding, employment document auditing, HR reporting, and other ad-hoc HR tasks.
Experience supporting special projects in HR areas such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, employee relations, and training and development.
Thorough working knowledge of the _Alberta Employment Standards_, _Human Rights Act_, and the _Occupational Health and Safety_ legislation
Postsecondary education specializing in business, human resources, or a related field is required.
Working towards Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is preferred.
Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word) and HRIS systems.
