    We, in the Teams Platform, are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join us and be part of an exciting journey in redefining workplace productivity solutions, that scale to our worldwide user base, across industry verticals and multitude of platforms and devices.     Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, TypeScript or JavaScript
      • OR equivalent experience.
    • 3+ years of experience in building and shipping web applications.
    • 3+ years of experience running live sites for large-scale web apps and services.
    • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with modern web technologies like React, TypeScript, GraphQL, etc.
    • Experience with designing, building, and maintaining developer-facing APIs
    • Excellent solution design, problem solving, debugging and communication skills
    • Proficient understanding of how web applications work including authentication, cookies, offline storage, and best development practices

    Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $104,000 - CAD $193,200 per year.

    Responsibilities

    • Defining and implementing authentication mechanisms for Teams App developers
    • Helping developers build secure and compliant authentication solutions for their Teams Apps
    • Working with multiple teams across the company to align dependencies and build compelling user scenarios
    • Implementing new features with high quality designs, execution, and robust deployment plans
    • Providing technical leadership for strategic initiatives and guiding the broader team
    • Demonstrating passion for customers and partners
