What to expect:


The IT department's primary focus is ensuring Broadsign Employees have the required Systems to enable them to be successful in their role.


As a Junior System Administrator, you will be responsible for performing administration and troubleshooting of various systems, either on-premises or in the cloud, i.e.

IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Additionally, you will be involved in process reviews and improvements and participate in some projects simultaneously.

You will challenge the status quo and you have a strong ability to work under pressure, and be dependable and trusted with critical information.

You will become an integral part of a fast-paced team environment, making every problem of the platform a problem of your own and solving them accordingly.


Your responsibilities:

  • Participate fully in the build, configuration, and documentation of IT Systems and Services
  • Maintain and support IT Systems and Services, ensuring adherence to standards and service level objectives
  • Direct and oversee the development of robust and secure IT Systems and Services
  • Draw on relationship and technical skills to act as technical liaison to internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the establishment of best practices
What you need to perform in this job

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a System Administrator within an enterprise environment
  • Experience as an Administrator with one or more of the following; Google Workspace, ServiceNow, Okta, Apple Business Manager, or an MDM Solution
  • Previous experience with various scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, etc
  • Administered various Operating Systems, such as Windows, macOS, and Linuxbased OS.
  • Previous experience with Cloud platform is an asset such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • You are located in Montreal and ready to go to the office 23 times per week

  • Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and partners in Quebec as necessary. Frenchlanguage training is offered to all incumbents in permanent positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French. Fluent English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, clients, and partners (or suppliers) located outside Quebec and to understand the technical and scientific documentation used in our industry_
