KML Windows Inc., a division of Andersen Corporation, is currently seeking a Production Associate I - Cleaner/Maintenance on the afternoon shift.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work in a safe manner and follow safe work practices and policies and help ensure coworkers are working safely and following safety requirements.
Empty outdoor ashtrays on a daily basis, shovel and salt walkways/entrances, mop up spills & wet foot traffic areas.
Cleaning of booths and stacks, and painting building, racks, and equipment (at heights occassionally).
Humidification head cleaning (at heights).
Line grinding and painting.
Sweep plant floor, clean carpets, operate rideon unit floor cleaner, polish floors, etc.
Clean and maintain lunch room, washrooms and offices/desks (filling paper & soap dispensers, vacuuming, sweeping/mopping, garbages/recycling, etc.)
Waste water treatment and processing.
Follow all applicable procedures, cleanup times, Standardized Work, etc. and participate in defining and improving standard work.
Learn, understand, and implement Andersen Management Systems (AMS) and continuous improvement concepts.
Support and participate in Employee engagement activities.
Engage in crosstraining to maintain flexibility and adaptability to support resource planning.
Identify problems; communicate issues to Work Center Leads and Supervisors.
Support a respectful workplace.
Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Possess communication, teamwork, problem solving, and leadership skills.
Dependability/punctuality.
Demonstrates a positive attitude with the ability to interact effectively with other departments.
Ability to work at heights to conduct cleaning activities at ceiling level.
Proven ability to work independently.
Demonstrates a positive attitude with the ability to interact effectively with other departments.
Strong communication skills (written, verbal & listening).

Available Shift:

Afternoons (Monday
Friday, 3:30pm 12am)

Salary:
PI ($ $22.77 per hour)
