Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start & end times.
You are a forward thinking, strategic, and solutions focused accountant with a wealth of experience and technical know-how. You enjoy reconciling bank statements and balance sheet accounts and working with other areas to resolve issues.In this role you will collaborate with the Accounting Manager and internal teams to ensure that monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables of the team are met.
4-5 years of progressive professional accounting experience.~ NetSuite and Advanced Bank Reconciliation (ABR) experience an asset.
Complete bank reconciliations for complex, high-volume bank accounts.
Prepare journal reconciliations of various non-cash balance sheet accounts.
Prepare and post journal entries daily for Canadian Payments activity for deposit accounts.
Prepare and post journal entries for Mortgage Rate Buydowns and other lending-related activities.
Reconciliation of Financial Position report with month-end balance sheet/trial balance.
Ensure adequacy of controls to confirm accuracy, timeliness, and authorization, updating as business requirements evolve.
Improve processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, controls.
