About the Position:

Europro is looking to hire a Certified Skilled Carpenter with knowledge of various carpentry techniques.

You will be responsible for layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures and buildings throughout our Kitchener-Waterloo portfolio.

What you'll do:

Read and interpret blueprints, and assist supervisors with structural design, planning, layout and installation.
Conduct repair work and installation of: doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs and other fixtures as required.
Assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
Complete all work in compliance with local building codes.
Embrace a Health & Safety focused environment, focused on prevention of accident / incident.
Provide customer service to tenants, as required.

This position will be full-time, Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Minimum Qualifications:

Min. 2 years' experience in a related role.
Ability to operate and repair tools, machines and other related equipment.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull and lift heavy objects.
Drywall, taping and plastering skills considered an asset.
Must be pleasant and comfortable interacting with tenants.
Considerable experience and knowledge of the standard practices, methods, materials and tools of the carpentry trade.
Ability to read and interpret sketches (maps/blueprints).
Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Glass "G" Driver's License.
Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment o Strong problem solving skills with the ability to multi task efficiently
