Overview:
We are currently seeking a student to join our team as a Co-op Student.

This position reports to the Deputy Registrar, Applications and could possibly work with other areas within the Office of the Registrar.

In this role you will have the opportunity to gain work experience that will complement your academic studies.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist in administrative aspects of the adjudicative process, including the preparation of letters, public notices, procedural orders, briefing notes and presentations
  • Review and analyze data filed by regulated entities for insights and trends
  • Monitor the energy and regulatory policy environment including legislation and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Completion of 2nd or 3rd year of an engineering, business administration, public administration, legal or related discipline registered in a coop program at a recognized postsecondary institution.
  • Demonstrated coursework related to the energy sector, business administration, law or policy study is an asset.
  • Ability to gather, analyze and compile data, then create visualizations to explain the findings (e.g., graphs and charts)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
