The Department of Engineering at Thompson Rivers University is a recent initiative to offer the BEng Software Engineering program.
The department is seeking to hire highly qualified individual for One (01) Tenure-Track Position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor \ Associate Teaching Professor beginning August 01 , 2024
Qualifications:
The department strongly support Women in Engineering 30 by 30 initiative of Engineers Canada and encourage female applicants to apply.
Preference will be given to candidate who currently have a valid Full Professional Engineer license from any of the professional engineers' associations within Canadian jurisdiction. Candidate must report in their CV their current professional engineer license status. However, successful candidate is required to become registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of British Columbia within the first three years of their initial appointment
Demonstrated knowledge or familiarity with CEAB (Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board) accreditation process is a valuable asset.
