Job Requirements:


  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and use of precision measuring instruments in completion of First-Off, In-Process, and Final inspections together with ISO Documentation Checks.
  • Completes mechanical inspections utilizing a variety of measuring equipment.
  • Validated performance and proficiency in CMM programming and operation with MCOSMOS.
  • Prepares inspection reports and issues final release of documents and parts.
  • Utilizes Lean Principles with a Continuous Improvement mindset in daily duties.
  • Presents a wellorganized, systems thinking approach.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean tidy and organized work area.
  • Follows safe work practices at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Must have reliable personal transportation (no public transportation available).

This role requires fluency in English (read, write and speak) with 3-5 years Precision Machining Shop experience and 5yrs current work history with Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, N299). Requires proven effectiveness in customer/sub-contractor communications/interactions. Shifts are 44-hours through weekdays with monthly shift rotation and potential OT from time to time. Must have means for travel when/as needed for Customer Audits.

Experience:


  • Dimensional inspection: 5 years (preferred)
  • QMS Systems: 5 years (preferred)
  • CMM Programming: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Canadian Work Permit, Residency, or Citizenship (required)
