Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all details from sales is properly moved to operations. Lead the Project Handover Meeting with the Account Executive to ensure all details are accounted for and the project is set up for success.
  • Lead and document any required client meetings
  • Onsite project reviews with key stakeholders as per the project schedule.
  • Create and maintain a project schedule.
  • Ensure site is safe and complete safety paperwork throughout that project. Deficiency Walkthroughs
  • Prior to project close out the deficiency walk through needs to be completed with install crew, client and any other invitees that are required. Weekly Site Meeting
  • Hold weekly meeting with the install crew if required. Initial Site Visit / Project Start
  • Ensure that site visit and project start happens, site meeting to occur with all furniture installer and project management to gain understanding of project. Client Communication
  • Project Manager to communicate to the client from sales order to project completion.
Required Experience

  • 2+ years in a Project Management capacity
  • Experience in the furniture or design industry is an asset
  • Operations Manager experience an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and detail orientated
  • Proficient in space planning
  • Experience reading blueprints and architectural drawings
