Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the
_Operations_

  • Manager_ of Indirect Global Strategic Sourcing, the Procurement Coordinator will develop, maintain, and execute on key operational procurement & purchasing activities related.


You will need to coordinate daily operations, triage requests to buyers and utilize your analytical skills to your advantage to help develop tools and improve processes with the overall goal of improving our operational efficiency and effectiveness.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate daily purchasing operations and efficiently triage a buyer pool of requisitions ensuring buyers are equally level loaded.
  • Point of escalation for stakeholders and buyers.
  • Centralize, triage, and monitor incoming stakeholder requests.
  • Understand current state of procurement processes, identify gaps, and develop work instructions, onboarding, and training material.
  • In coordination with the Operations Manager, develop and maintain standardized KPIs for monitoring operational excellence.
  • Develop procurement training material in coordination with change management.
  • Explore and implement solutions to automate and transform our procurement processes.
  • Lead and support activities or weekly calls related to operational objectives.
  • Supports reasonable ad hoc requests from Operations Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors in Commerce/Supply Chain (or equivalent).
  • Required proficiency in Microsoft Suite products, including but not limited to Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Excel and Power BI considered an asset.
  • English and French required.

EXPERIENCE
Experience with Oracle ERP/P2P, SAP and Ariba preferred.

  • Analytical thinker with ability to understand and convey complex processes to stakeholders.
  • Selfdirected, able to work independently, as well as work in a teamorientated and fast paced environment.
  • Effective communicator who undeterred by having sometimes challenging discussions with suppliers.
  • Results oriented with a critical eye for detail.
  • Demonstrate a genuine curiosity towards understanding the needs of business and the impact of applied solutions.
  • Strong time management and personal organizational skills.
