Your responsibilities:

Setting up and operating variety of woodworking machines.
Read design and shop drawings, fabricate millwork to drawings.
Forecast time WO's will take and discuss with Production Managers.
Provide progress updates to Production Manager,
Request materials required from Production Managers.
Using various hand tools.
Installing hardware, such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls.
Inspect finished work pieces to determinate conformance to specifications.
Prepare veneering layup requests for veneering department.
Conduct QC on veneered stock received.
Conduct QC on products/ pieces leaving the team to next production steps.
Familiar with work in solid wood.
Work with and install metal components into millwork fixtures.

General skills and abilities:

10 years' wood manufacturing experience in progressivley advanced roles.
Woodworking knowledge.
Attention to detail, accuracy.
Ability to work in a team and/ or lead a team up to 4 people.
Ability to learn.
Must be commited to safety.
Safety shoes.
Passionate about their work.
