Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Supervise the daily operations of the grain elevator and crop inputs facility.
- Act as the primary resource / contact for the facility in the movement of grain and crop input logistics.
- Manage quality control, blending of grain, and crop input inventories.
- Oversee the regular maintenance and repair of facility equipment.
- Oversee food safety compliance, including safety training and related documentation for all staff.
- 35 years' experience in the operation of a grain facility including the shipping, receiving, collecting, and grading of grain samples, customer service and mechanical repairs OR,
- 35 years' experience in the operation of a crop inputs service location, including logistics, inventory management and seasonal operations.
- Previous experience supervising employees is preferred.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize key tasks based on seasonal requirements and customer demands.
- Must be competent in using Microsoft Office and other grain specific electronic systems for the tracking and movement of grain.
