The Facilities Database Specialist is responsible for providing functional and systems expertise in the hospital's Computer Assisted Facilities Management (CAFM) software systems, including Archibus, Honeywell EBI and the Microsoft Power BI Business Intelligence system.

This position develops and implements business solutions, ensuring Facilities Management is receiving maximum benefits from its software systems.

Rate of Pay:
$34.71 per hour - $43.40 per hour

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week


Qualifications:


  • Successful completion of a three year diploma in Business, Information Technology, Computer Technologist or Programming/Analyst
  • Certification as an Archibus Administrator (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent, related experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and previous experience with Archibus, FCAP, Power BI, Honeywell Enterprise Building Integrator (EBI), Convergent, SwissLog, Primex, Electrical Safety Authority (ESA).
  • Demonstrated proficient project management skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to interact positively and effectively with colleagues and the public
  • Selfstarter, conscientious, motivated with a willingness to learn, and take on additional responsibilities
  • Demonstrated advanced ability to prioritize multiple and changing demands that require attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated organization skills with the ability to prioritize multiple and changing demands
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Immunization Requirements:


  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
