Description
We are currently looking to hire an
Accounting Assistant/
Bookkeeper

What you will be doing:


  • Manage financial records, performing full cycle accounts payable transactions which include creating purchase orders, and entering invoices for payment using the computerized accounting software system
  • Keeping record and entering EFT information in vendor records, for payments of operating expenses
  • Calculation of all employees' expense reports and petty cash reports for employee reimbursement
  • Prepare journal entry transactions such as prepayments, accruals, credit card transactions, bank fees, and other adjusting entries.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger, as well as the financial statements
  • Assist the finance team with monthend closing activities in a timely manner
  • Assist with an annual interim and yearend audit by preparing and reconciling the audit schedule to the general ledger and subledger and providing supporting documents for the verification of transactions such as invoices, purchase orders, employee reimbursement, and contracts
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations by reconciling bank statements to the general ledger account balance.
  • Organizing and filing of vendor invoices, purchase orders, and contracts
  • Processing Payroll & Run financial reports.
  • Handle accounts receivable monitoring, reconciliation, and aging

What we are looking for:


  • Full cycle Bookkeeper
  • 1year experience in Bookkeeping.
  • Quick Books experience is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet all financial deadlines
  • Prior knowledge of Sales / Purchase Orders
  • Ability to generate new approaches to problems or innovations to established best practices using imagination and experience

Experience:


  • QuickBooks: 2 year (Must)
  • Bookkeeping: 2 year
Related Party Transactions: 1 year (preferred)

  • Sales Orders and
Purchase Orders: 1 year (preferred)


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:


  • QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
  • Bookkeepers: 1 year (preferred)
  • Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
