    Join us now and point your career forward Job Summary We are seeking Manger – Acquisition Integrations to work directly with the Senior Manager of acquisition Integration in our Finance and Accounting Department located in London, Ontario.

    The highly motivated and results oriented individual will assist in integrating newly acquired businesses to Compass' accounting policies and financial reporting systems.

    Working directly with our operators pre and post integration, the successful candidate will also be responsible for financial close responsibilities of the acquired businesses.

    Now, if you were to come on board as our Manager, Acquisitions and Integrations, we'd ask you to do the following for us:

    • Lead, as assigned, duties and responsibilities as they relate to acquisition integration.
    • Examining systems and processes of the acquired companies and integrating those with Compass systems and standards.
    • Understanding and working with different departmental requirements to execute integration tasks.
    • Developing, updating and revising internal resources, process templates and financial and operational analysis.
    • Responsible for preparing National billing, analysis, month end accrual close and reconciliation, including balance sheet.
    • Lead accounting and financial analysis support to management and operation units for acquired businesses.
    • Ensure unit managers understand and fulfill the financial terms and obligations of client contracts and follow generally accepted accounting principles.
    • Provide professional, timely and accurate financial information (accounting calculations and evaluations) to clients, Operations Management and Senior Management as required.
    • Involvement in pre acquisition discovery work as they relate to the preparation of integration needs.
    • Other accounting duties as assigned.

    Here's how we'll know you'll be successful in the role:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business studies or equivalent with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
    • CPA designation strongly preferred.
    • Minimum of five years experience in a computerized accounting environment (JD Edwards experience preferred).
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Power Apps.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Self motivated, well organized, team player capable of contributing to a very busy accounting department.
    • Bilingual (asset)
    • Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem solving skills.
    • Flexible and can quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.
    • Able to balance team and individual responsibilities.
    • Able to work in a fast pace environment with strict deadlines.
